Civic Center Conservancy

For the second year Denver celebrated Independence Day with a new event called "Independence Eve". The event has become a mainstay attraction event in the heart of downtown Denver’s Civic Center Park. "How can you go wrong with a free concert from the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Fireworks, and a vibrant light show on the Denver City and County Building?" said Nate Webb Lighting designer and Co-Owner of Blazen Illuminations.

Blazen Illuminations has provided the light show for both years and this year proved to be the best yet. With over 570 LED lights on the building and dozens of lights on the main stage Blazen produced a spectacle for the eyes at this year’s event.

Butterfly Pavilion

July 2010 - Blazen Illuminations was invited to propose a holiday lighting event at the Butterfly Pavilion located in Westminister, CO. The event directive was to create a walk through holiday display, using holiday lighting and lit sculptures, that would attract guests from all over Colorado and surrounding states.

Based on other attractions in the area Blazen Illuminations did not want to copy what was being done already. The goal was to come up with a completely new concept of lit sculptures and produce a totally 3D walk through experience.

Built in 1932, the City and County Building in Denver, Colorado is one of Denver’s most beautiful and historic buildings.  Conceived as part of Mayor Robert Speer's vision of a “Paris on the Plains,” the neoclassical travertine and granite structure has long hosted one of the most beautiful and striking holiday lighting displays in the entire country.  Blazen Illuminations, in a partnership with American Lighting, worked with the city and county of Denver to update the lighting for the entire building with energy efficient LEDs. 

The Promenade Shops at Centerra

Loveland, Colorado

In 2006, Blazen Illuminations was approached by the McWhinney Corporation of Loveland, Colorado, one of the premiere property developers in Northern Colorado, to provide them with a plan for holiday lighting at several of their Northern Colorado locations. Among these were the Motorplex Marketplace, the Marketplace at Centerra, and the Promenade Shops at Centerra.
